Paid Family Leave webinar recognizing National Foster Care Month

In recognition of National Foster Care Month in May, the Workers' Compensation Board is hosting a webinar to discuss how Paid Family Leave (PFL) can be taken for foster care and adoption. Learn what’s new for 2025, including:

• The higher maximum weekly benefit amount.
• The lower employee contribution rate.

Each one-hour, online session will also provide an overview of the state’s landmark PFL benefit, including:

• Who is eligible.
• How to request taking this type of leave.
• Benefits received.

The sessions are free and there will be time at the end for questions.
